Noah's Ark: Found again!

Noah's Ark is thought to be located on Mount Ararat.

Last year, a group of 'evangelical explorers' claimed to have discovered Noah's Ark on the sides of Turkey's Mount Ararat. Now widely believed to be a hoax, a new group - this time from the Google-anonymous Shamrock - The Trinity Corporation - has made a similar claim; citing CIA records and President Jimmy Carter's White House diary.

CEO and President of Shamrock - The Trinity Corporation, Daniel P. McGivern, claims to have discovered two large sections of Noah's ark resting just below surface atop Mount Ararat in Turkey -- where the Bible says the ark came to rest.

"The mountain is treeless. The mountain is volcanic with gases. There is no conceivable way that you could have an object that big on a mountain," McGivern said.

Based solely on evidence gleaned from military satellite imagery and penetrating radar technology, McGivern added. "This is the large piece from Noah's ark."

Replete with conspiracy theories and Walt Brown's 'Hydroplate Theory', the noahsarkfound.com website is strewn with inadequate explanations and an abject lack of scientific rigour - to the extent that this may not even be credited with the title of a hoax. It is, rather, a pathetic piece of Christian propaganda.
